Project overview
The Regional Transport Authority (RTA) in Manipal, Karnataka, faced a major challenge in managing and tracking bus route permits. Traditionally, collecting and verifying route history for a single bus permit took nearly a year due to manual, paper-based documentation. To overcome this delay and digitize their workflow, the department partnered with Hungercat, recognized as one of the leading software companies in Udupi, to develop a modern web application system.

The solution automates processes such as route rationalization, permit expiry tracking, and data analytics, enabling the department to retrieve any permit’s route history within seconds. The new system centralizes all data, eliminates the need for manual paperwork, and offers real-time insights into route planning and renewals.
